Returns Policy

We’re sorry your order wasn’t perfect, but here’s some good news: You can return any items (except tights and underwear) within 28 days of purchase for a full refund or a direct exchange. Yay! All items purchased on danceworld.ie can also be accepted in either of our stores for exchange with proof of purchase.

With the exception of faulty items, all returns must be in perfect condition, in their original packaging and with no markings. In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we may have to decline to accept it and may send it back to you.

In the interest of hygiene, once opened; tights, socks and underwear are not returnable or exchangeable unless faulty.

I want to return an item for an exchange or a refund. What should I do?

It is very important that when you return an item, you provide sufficient information for us to process. Please remember to fill out the returns form provided, including your name, a contact number or email, and your order number and specify whether you want a refund or an exchange. If you require an exchange, make sure to tell us what size you want us to send back to you. 

Please allow 7 working days for us to receive your return. Once received, we will inspect and process your return within 3 working days. Customers will cover postal costs incurred returning items, but we do not charge for redelivery of exchanges.

All refunds will automatically be issued to the card used to make the original purchase. Refunds take 3-5 business days to be processed.

Who pays the postage costs of a return?

You will be responsible for all return postage costs unless the goods you received are faulty or incorrect (according to your original order). Please retain proof of postage from your shipper. Without this, we cannot be responsible for any items that fail to reach us. We will ship exchanges back to you free of charge.

We always recommend that you send your returned goods back to us via a registered delivery service, so you will be able to track your return.

How should I pack my return for postage?

All goods returned must be sealed in their original boxes or packaging, and then safely and securely packaged along with a completed return form. You are responsible for the return of the items, and any damage caused to them whilst in transit to us may affect your chances of a full refund.

Marked, scuffed or dirty shoes and/or items displaying obvious evidence of wear will be returned to the customer.

I have received a faulty item. What should I do?

We’re so sorry to hear you have received something that’s not in perfect condition. If you think there is a fault with an item you have received, please let us know straight away by emailing us at orders@danceworld.ie.

When you contact us please make sure to include the following information so that we can resolve the issue as fast as possible:

Your Name, Order Number, Product Name/Code, Picture of the fault and a Description of the fault.

The product name/code can be found in your order confirmation email.

Please inform us as soon as you discover the fault so we can resolve the issue for you.

I have received an item I didn’t order. What should I do?

We’re so sorry to hear you have received something incorrectly. If you think there is a problem with an item you have received, please let us know straight away by emailing us at orders@danceworld.ie.

When you contact us please make sure to include the following information so that we can resolve the issue as fast as possible:

Your Name, Order Number and Contact Details.

I would like to cancel my order. What should I do?

To cancel an order, please email orders@danceworld.ie within one hour of ordering.

Does Dance World refund delivery charges?

We will be happy to refund your postage charges if you cancel your order or are returning a faulty item to us. We will also issue a refund if you are returning an item that was sent to you in error.
